February - "Bags of Love"
The Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce along with the Edgefield County Senior Citizens Council put together "Bags of Love" for seniors in our community living alone and dependent on community agencies for food, socialization, and basic human contact. What this event brings will brighten their day and warm their hearts!! Put together a small "Bag of Love" for a homebound senior citizen and Meals on Wheels will deliver bags for Valentine's day!
Bags or monetary donations are accepted. Deliver to the Chamber office - bags will be delivered to ECSCC before Feb. 14th. 803-275-0010
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
The Episcopal Church of the Ridge will be hosting the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper from 6-7:30 PM at Trinity Parish Hall in Edgefield, SC. Admissions is $3.00 per person and "carry-out" plates will be available.

Featuring three divisions for young ladies ranging in age from infant to 20 years of age. Winners will be expected to participate in Peach Blossom Festival Parade on May 4th.

Bettis Academy Campus in Trenton, SC. Sponsored by the National Parks Conservation Association to save endangered parks and historic sites. April 18th - 1st Annual Bluegrass Festival
1:00 to 5:00 pm downtown Edgefield around the town square. The Edgefield Civic League will host a Spaghetti lunch fundraiser. There will be a reenactment demonstration by the Edgefield Historical Society at 2:30 pm.
Later in Trenton, SC in the town park Shag Attack will be performing from 4:00 until 8:00 PM.

May - 32nd Annual Johnston Peach Blossom Festival
held first weekend in May. A celebration held in the Town of Johnston to coincide with the blooming of peach trees. Friday night street dance. Saturday activities include rides, games, vendors, arts and crafts, a parade, and live entertainment. Johnston Development Association are the sponsor. Trenton Flyers Annual Candy Drop
at the Edgefield County Airport, Yonce Field in Trenton. Planes will be on display and candy will drop from the sky at 12:00 noon for the children. Rain or shine the candy will flow.
